Description of the job

The main responsibility is being an internal reference for Operations Excellence System (OES) Concepts, Principles, Tools & Techniques used to guide OES implementation and raise the level of lean competence of the LTA (Light Transport Aircraft) division in San Pablo Plant. Being part of Cross-Functional Teams and supporting them in order to achieve OES maturity target. Focusing on LTA FAL and MRO.
Another of his/her main responsibility is managing the Step Change/Hoshin Kanri, assuring a huge excellence evolution in LTA in terms of all indicators (SQCDP). He/She is able to lead the CAPEX investments according to CAPEX planning related to the area.
To provide lean knowledge to the teams to facilitate the OES implementation (concepts and tools).
To support the teams to know and act according to the Standard Build Process Flow. Giving visibility, encouraging people to tackle daily problems which impact and affect the chain. Fighting against deviations.
Optimizing Manage Improvement Plan in terms of follow-up, indicators, targets achievement. Orientating team toward quick win and effective solutions.
Fostering a preventative way to work to avoid customer's findings, non-conformities. To generate an environment against escapes of quality and problem solving.
To help areas to improve communication between all team members. Although all of them, changing the current mindset to an opener new way of thinking and more empowered.
To work in lean activities as part of the Light Transport Aircraft team to meet targets in terms of cost savings, quality and delivery, deploying lean tools such as: VSM to create tactic improvement plans (TIP) focused on to get targets
To manage CAPEX investments as a way of improvement orientated to obtain cost benefits.
Continuous supporting and reporting to the LTA steering committee and TOMI organization. Giving visibility about how targets are being achieved.
To give support to the teams for OES Master Plan implementation, meeting the targets in terms of quality, cost savings and delivery, through different OES tools.
Reporting: Lean committees, Balance scorecard, HK and Improvement Projects.
To manage CAPEX budget encouraging teams and area to drive investments what bring saving benefits.
