Employment Marketing works with external organisations to prepare the market for future sourcing of candidates by raising the profile of the Airbus brand as an employer of choice. The UK Employment Marketing team works with schools and universities to promote STEM engagement and future competency needs, as well as career opportunities. This includes dedicated Early Careers marketing campaigns covering internship and graduate opportunities, as well as our various apprenticeships, as well as experienced professional roles.

Tasks:

During an internship in the Employment Marketing team you will get involved in a wide range of tasks with large amounts of responsibility and be given the opportunity to meet and network with a variety of people. You will become a vital part of the team and support with the following:

·  Recruitment marketing campaigns planning/content in preparation for Early Careers campaigns.
·  Assist in the planning, organising and implementation of Airbus presence at selected national events.
·  Supporting Airbus’s various university relations partnerships, including coordinating meetings, reviews and supporting activities at universities.
·  Managing spreadsheets for budget related work and project management of events.
·  Creating presentations, marketing materials, stands, etc. for STEM events and recruitment campaigns.
·  Content creation for external Social Media posts to promote relevant activities/events.
·  This role offers various opportunities to travel within your placement for careers and recruitment events as well as airshows and events supporting the Corporate Comms team. You will also have the opportunity to work in other Airbus offices such as London and Bristol.

Please note our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

·  Business with interest in Marketing and Communications or HR modules
·  Marketing /Digital Marketing
·  Communications
·  Events Management

During my role I have developed a lot professionally, as I now have a large network of people I liaise with on a regular basis, I have a much deeper understanding of Airbus and the way the company works, I’ve been involved in big event organisation which is incredible and I have a much more in depth knowledge of how to use various digital tools, such as excel. I have also developed a lot personally, as I have a lot more confidence now than I have ever had before, many opportunities I am given put me out of my comfort zone, but this only furthers my development. My manager supports everything I do and empowers me to progress more than I thought capable. As an EM intern you will be given a lot of responsibility and trust from the team, especially your manager, and you will soon find yourself a crucial part of Employment Marketing within Airbus.’
