Description of the job

A position for a systems engineer specialized in EF Typhoon Defensive Aids Sub-System ( DASS) and Electronic Warfare (EW) technologies is available at Centro Logístico Experimental (CLAEX) in Torrejón de Ardoz Airbase (MADRID). The successful applicant will join TEAXC-TL3 department.

Tasks & accountabilities

The selected candidate will work directly with the Spanish Customer EW Squadron dealing with Electronic Warfare tasks for the EF Typhoon platform.
His/her main tasks would be:

·  Support the Spanish Customer in the generation and validation of EW Mission Data(EWMD) for the EF Typhoon platform as well as assessment and analysis of EW data recorded in flight.
·  Support to the Spanish Customer as an EW specialist in National and International campaigns/exercises.
·  Support to the Spanish Customer in EW tools and avionics rigs requirements specifications to cover present and future capabilities.
·  Provide recommendations regarding future EW capabilities for EF Typhoon platform.

Required skills

The selected candidate will fulfil the following requirements:

·  An engineering degree (preferable in Telecommunications or Electronics)
·  Minimum 5 years of experience working on EF Typhoon DASS or similar EW systems.
·  Experienced in Mission Data generation tools and rig testing environments for EF Typhoon.
·  Experienced in Radar Electronic Countermeasures techniques development.
·  Good knowledge of radiofrequency technologies, radar systems and EF Typhoon Avionics.
·  Knowledge of EF Typhoon Radar and Sensor Fusion is a plus.
·  Good knowledge of English.
·  Available to travel occasionally.
·  Team work spirit. Proactive and problem solving approach.
·  Flexible to accomplish tasks that the work may require.
·  NATO Security clearance up to NATO Secret / Nacional Reservado.
