Description of the job

Heading the team "EEE Equipment Support Spain", located within Airbus DS in Tres Cantos, within the "EEE-Center" (TSPF).
The leadership of the team "EEE Equipment Support" requires a credible demeanor in front of the team as well as the internal & external business customers. The mixed team, constituted of EEE (electrical, electronical, electromechanical) specialists requires a broad knowledge of electronics components related activities.
Main duty is to act locally as the entry-point and formal link into all EEE Center services in front of Business Line Electronics internal customer (Electronics center / Product-line / Project / Design / Product Assurance). The team leader is accountable in front of internal customer for EEE and PCB (printed circuit boards) topics related to electronic equipments; this includes: selection, demand management (OQOTOC - on quality, on-time, on-cost) and usage support, as well as technical/quality support to end-customer (WP2) and to lower tier suppliers for sub-assembly procurements (WP3).
Furthermore a contribution to the EEE parts roadmap and preparation of the EEE future in anticipation is expected (collect and harmonize EEE needs from internal customer, propose technical solution for coordination on TSPFE level, feed-back the finally agreed roadmap to internal customer and ensure application in design team)
The emphasis is forced by a high knowledge within the field of EEE components and driven by design and application requirements. The financial/budget and cost base responsibility for the team is enclosed in the role.

Tasks & accountabilities

¤ Coordinate and support the team in their mission to provide good support to projects Core teams
¤ Set the individual goals for his team in line with the function collective goals and preform the goal achievement evaluation.
¤ Manage the financial/hours budget of the team
¤ Maintain a high level of expertise in EEE parts application with the adequate recognition and manage training needs of the team members.
¤ Gate new components introduction upon internal customer request , as well as second sources upon strategy, through to the approved Part list and application engineering
¤ Control and Ensure implementation of ACL in the selection of EEE parts from design
¤ Chair the LPC (Local Parts Committee), a multidisciplinary committee in charge to control the process of introduction of new parts in ACL.
¤ Participate to PAG meetings (as LPC chairman)
¤ Interface with other Local Team Leaders in EEE centre.
¤ Ensure links and accountability for EEE matters with final customer (from review of requirements to submission of parts approval to customers)
¤ Link to local Quality/PA, preparation of deviations to EEE and PCB requirements (RFD, RFW), support to NCR and NRBs towards final customers
¤ Coordinate bid inputs to new tenders for all EEE and PCB topics, according to set cost models
¤ Responsible and single interface to internal customer for all EEE and PCB activities (selection, evaluation, qualification, procurement including
contribution to and approval of procurement specifications, PAD Sheets, Parts Control Board (PCB) meetings, Justification documents, compliances, RFDs, RFWs, …).
¤ Release and "gatekeeper" of BOMs to ensure consistency with strategy
¤ Contribute to EEE parts roadmap to prepare EEE future in anticipation (collect & harmonize EEE needs and ensure application)
¤ EEE risk management on behalf of the internal customer
¤ Reporting both ways EEE and PCB issues/opportunities with internal customer to ensure ADS-Electronics continuous optimum.
¤ Ensure implementation of EEE and PCB alerts for int. customer (PCN/RAN/WN/DWN)
¤ Contribute and support to R&D and advanced studies (in line/coordinated with strategy) related to EEE application in close cooperation with internal customer (in- & external funding)
