A great opportunity for a Data Analyst to join Airbus Customer Services and more precisely the Operational Unit in charge of Technical Data (SED).

SED is in charge of delivering maintenance documentation associated to the aircraft. Therefore its contribution is key for any aircraft delivery.

The maintenance documentation is used directly by the customers (airlines, MRO, lessors). It enables the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations all along the aircraft life cycle, in accordance with airworthiness requirements and regulations, particularly regarding Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA).

The data analyst is much more than a simple number cruncher. You will review the data and determine how it can be used to solve problems, learn key concepts about producing technical data, reduce the CNQ (Cost of None Quality), and increase delivery quality. You will have the opportunity to influence Tech Data's organization to take actions to achieve performance objectives!

You need to be familiar with some computer software and tools including: SAP HANA, Excel, SKYWISE as well as able to specify and follow the development of some “small apps” applications including the user acceptance.

Within SED, you will join the SEDBB team, which is a transversal organization in charge of programmes management and you will be responsible for ensuring data consistency throughout the workflow process from programmes assumptions to the final Tech Data deliveries towards the customers.  

Key missions and Accountabilities

The Business Data Analyst is the one whose focus of analysis and problem solving related to data, types of data, and relationships among data elements within Tech Data programmes business.

Her / His main deliverables is to combine workflow, configuration and authoring data in order to PLAN/DO/CHECK/ACT in the fields of production management, completeness, and quality performance and customers reports.

You will lead the process of inspecting, cleansing, transforming and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions and supporting decision-making.

You will translate number into plain English!

The activity shall be developed in the frame of the initiatives already launched to improve the Tech Data quality and will support the next challenge associated to the Real Time Tech Data ( RTTD) / On Demand Tech Data (ODTD).

Competences required

For this position you will be able to demonstrate some of the following skills and competencies:

·  5 years’ degree or equivalent with a proven data analyst experience
·  Capacity to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures and context
·  Capacity to present the findings or translate data into understandable documents
·  Demonstrate critical thinking and come to new conclusions
·  Vigilant in the analysis to come to correct conclusions

You are dynamic, proactive, autonomous and agile and you are able to work in a transverse and transnational environment.

You have strong interpersonal skills: team spirit, communication, negotiation, diplomacy…

You are curious, dubious, detail-oriented, accepting of the unknown, love exploring (data especially), open-minded and recognized for your innovative mindset.

Negotiation level of English is mandatory.
