Description of the job

A vacancy for an Avionics Embedded Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse, France.

You will join a dynamic domain which is leading and contributing to ambitious transversal projects to provide digital solution and platforms allowing:

·  Airbus optimization of Embedded Avionics and Development of Services,

·  Airlines optimization of Maintenance and Flight operations.

This role offers the possibility to act in an domain offering significant opportunities of innovation thanks to the connection of the fast evolving IT environment (portable devices, ground systems).

Tasks & accountabilities

This open position offers the following opportunities and responsibilities which can be customized depending on the applicant’s ambition:

·  Integrated Modular Avionics (Responsible for Hardware and Core Software evolutions) Prepare architecture dossiers in close relation with function owners and customers.

·  Define and lead R&T projects for preparation of the future.

·  Manage Suppliers.

·  Support certification activities.

·  Answer Production & In-Service support requests.

·  Engineering Degree in Aeronautics or Computer Science specialised in Networking and Embedded Systems.

·  Proven experience and knowledge of Avionics Systems.

·  Strong interest for IT.

·  Dynamism, proactive, autonomy and solution driven mindset.

·  Good team player with strong communication skills.

·  Curiosity and openness for change and continuous improvement.

·  Advanced level of English; intermediate level of French.
