Job Description

For Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth we are looking for you as a highly motivated graduate to join our Enterprise Risk Management team as VIE (m/f/d) and to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking sector!

Start date? February 2021

Duration? 24 months

What is the VIE program?

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

What can you expect for your position at Airbus Helicopters?

An ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) system has a key role to play to make the business robust, support operational decision making, improve the business results and reduce the exposure level.

The VIE together with the network of ERM Officers shall boost operational risk reduction and synergies. Combine their capacity to support the de-risking and opportunities capturing throughout Airbus. Foster anticipation culture and mind-set change jointly with the ERM network, in a coordinated way, push for a reinforced R&O /anticipation culture throughout the Group, rather than widespread firefighting habits.

This is absolutely key: only by changing the mind-set we will achieve sustainable de-risking and in the end secure the profitability. Operational support and challenge strongly supports the Prgrammes and Functions, challenge the ROM effectiveness and pushes for strengthened anticipation.

The ERM CoC supports the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee and the Top Management by bringing them independent view and early warnings.

In this context, your main objectives are to:

·  Have a strong proximity to the business
·  Give priority to the operational dimension
·  Constructively challenge Programs and Functions
·  Push for early risk reduction and stimulate much more opportunities
·  Harmonize and standardize risk management practices throughout the Group
·  Safeguard the compliance dimension
·  Promote an anticipation culture througout Airbus
·  Detect and de-risk potential single point of failures
·  Digging into low probability risks with very high impacts and emerging risks to avoid tomorrow's crises

You have the following proficiency and qualification

You are an organizational talent, have the ability to work independently and you are communicative.

Furthermore, a good level of project management is needed in order to support the ERM team in launching and implementing process improvement initiatives and to ensure the continuous updates of a meaningful ERM KPI dashboard.

A digital-savvy mindset is required to support the ongoing implementation of visual management tools, and to support projects related to ERM IT-tool.

You offer:

·  University degree in General Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Design Engineering, Finance or similar
·  Experience in Engineering or Finance
·  Profound knowledge in MS Office, SAP, PowerPoint, Excel
