Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of a Loads and Aeroelastics Engineer? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (d/f/m) at the Component Loads department (35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Location: Hamburg
Start: October 2019
Duration: 6 months

As part of Loads & Aeroelastics department at Airbus, the component loads and component dynamics team is responsible for the analysis and delivery of loads data to the stress office for the different A/C components. You should have an aeronautical/mechanical engineering background, with knowledge in IT systems (Unix / Windows) and should be able to perform programming in Python & Matlab. Basic knowledge of Visual Basic/VBA is required.

Task & accountabilities :
- Specify & develop a load factorization tool to support quick load assessments
- Data analysis & quick read-across of loads on fairings
- Validation and verification of the results and documentation of the performed activities

Required skills :
You offer:
- Enrolled student within Aerospace/General Engineering or similar field of study
- Good user knowledge in Unix, Windows
- Basic knowledge of Visual Basic/VBA is required
- Programming experience in Python is a plus
- Knowledge of Fortran is advantageous
- English: Fluent
- German: Beginner

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently
