A vacancy for a Air Systems Control Engineer has arisen within AIRBUS in Getafe.

Being part of Air Supply System team the main mission assigned is:

To support Air Systems team by transforming data into actionable insights for product performance, business and market intelligence; operational diagnostics and prognostics.



Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Understand the air supply system requirements, and identify an appropriate analytical model and/or tools to apply towards solving it;
·  Extract and integrate data of different formats from various databases/data-stores;
·  Implement analytical models to identify meaningful patterns or trends from complex data sets and types;
·  Design and handle the machine learning pipeline;
·  Code, analyze and improve the performance of implemented algorithms/models.
·  Data exploration and identification of further information / data required to generate further business value.
·  Define the data analytics opportunities on the development of the system.
·  Contribute to improve the operations and maintenance of the air supply system in service.
·  Analyze and consider technology trends and contribute to innovations within assigned perimeter and participate on request to research and technology projects as well as to national and/or international committees.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level in Engineering
·  Experience in Systmes Engineering
·  English advanced
·  Spanish will be valuable

·  Statistical Tool development, data processing, and statistical analysis for the delivery teams and management scientists
·  Manage and manipulate datasets
·  Design and develop reusable analytical models and data driven assets in support of our analytical service offerings
·  Statistical programming languages like R, Python, MATLAB,..
·  Different techniques: machine learning, deep learning, text mining
·  Full life cycle development methodologies
·  Databases programing and management
·  Big data platforms as Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB, Hive, Spark ... is a plus
