Description of the job
· Mission and activity
Jobholder will join Airbus DS Procurement Quality organization. More specifically, the jobholder will take the role of “Supplier Quality Manager” for Industrial Partners and Participants for A400M program, becoming the “Quality Focal Point” for Airbus DS for these external companies, partners and participants of AMSL, involving the Jobholder in an international work experience along Europe (France, Belgium, Germany, UK and Turkey) allowing deeply knowledge of other companies way of working.
· Our mission:
To ensure that suppliers in our scope are fully compliant with all applicable Quality Requirements and A400M Program Targets, evolving “Tactical Improvement Plans & KPIs follow ups” and “Audits and Assessments” (like for example Airbus Standard IPCA+) based on Risk Assessment.
To drive Innovation in Quality amongst our supply base (using Quest tools and APQP), shifting from correction to prevention and reducing overall cost of non quality.
To drive Continuous Improvement in Quality Performance among our supplier base, in support of our internal (and end) customers.
· Main responsibilities:
Act as focal point for supply chain quality topics towards the BL/internal customers.
Represent Supply Chain Quality in Procurement MFTs strategic decision forum (supplier selection, evaluation and development, and new supplier qualification).
Define and perform BL's Supplier Audit & Surveillance Plan based on Risk Assessment (consolidation with TOPQB), including conformance audits in coordination with experts
Assess supplier capability ( IPCA+/PMCA/SPCA/TDCA) in coordination with Supply Chain Operations and Supplier Development.
Assure the Quality of the supplies for the Business Line
Communicate KPIs with suppliers and drive action plans for their improvement.
Ensure timely and lean Resolution Management Process for supplier issues
Ensure that curative, corrective and preventive action plans are defined, agreed and implemented with suppliers.
Manage operationally Practical Problem Solving (PPS/SQIP) with support of programs (e.g. Technical Authority) and Supplier Development as necessary
Consolidate, maintain and monitor the plans for suppliers improvement and define mission targets for SDM
For inspections and acceptance reviews at supplier sites that are delegated (to suppliers, or to SC Operation); control the delegation and monitor the results
Lead and monitor APQP plan in coordination with MFT, manage product, project procurement quality gate review
In case of delegation : define, implement and control delegation of quality to operations / suppliers
Train suppliers to quality standards as necessary (PPS, FMEA, …)
Collect feed back from internal customers (Participate to BLs quality boards TxOQ and TOPX Boards) and implement improvement plans.
Manage all "Safety relevant topics" (S.A.R.I.), "recurrent /highly impacting production issues" (Events) and "In Service Quality Inspections" (I.S.Q.I.s) with regards to I.P.P.s
Lead and Follow up CnQ Reduction Projects in line with A400M Quality Program
Setup, Report and Follow Up of Quality Performance KPIs for Industrial Partners and Participants
Ensure CCMD and Conformity processes related to IPPs are followed on time and on quality.
Quality Survey Report (Q.S.R.) Process for IPP
High level of English is mandatory.
