Purpose

· Support the development and implementation of a consumer centric Pricing methodology for Brand adidas, maximizing margin and profit potential.
· Assist the delivery of consistent price architectures for brand adidas considering all relevant inputs and factors.
· Act as a consultant and business partner to all x-functional key stakeholders (e.g. CtC Merchandising, Global BU’s, all Markets, Brand Finance) enabling fact based decision making through guidance and analytics.
· Support the development of Pricing systems & tools
· Foster x-functional collaboration of key stakeholders through effective communication and efficient end to end processes.
· Contribute to improve organizational expertize by providing comprehensive upskilling and learning platforms.

Key Accountabilities

· Closely collaborate with the peers and line-manager to shape the global pricing strategy by providing input for profit and margin maximization.
· Support the development and implementation of Pricing methodologies for Brand adidas. Ensure it becomes a fundamental part of the adidas pricing process, not compromising category pricing strategies.
· In collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g. CtC Merchandising, Global BU’s; Brand Finance, Market CtC, Market Sales) actively participate in the rollout of the Pricing methodologies.
· Monitor and report execution of results, identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
· Support the verification of results with comprehensive consumer research and advanced analytics in collaboration with market stakeholders.
· Collaborate with market pricing experts, enable end to end consistency and execution of all initiatives to fully exploit Brand profit potential.
· Supported by Program Management and IT, assist the implementation of state of the art pricing systems and tools.
· Actively participate in comprehensive learning and education platforms (e.g. Pricing University) to bring pricing expertize into the global organisation.
· Other ad-hoc tasks as required.

People Management

· Manage, grow and develop a high performance team by setting clear objectives.
· Evaluate team competencies on a regular basis, utilising the required tools and KPI’s.
· Provide prompt feedback and guidance to drive development.
· Translate the company goals into team-specific goals and action plans.

Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities

· Expert of pricing methodologies and processes
· Wholesale and/or Retail sales experience an advantage
· Project management
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Advanced skills in MS Office, esp. Excel and Access
· Structured, organised and solution oriented
· Strong presentation and influencing skills
· Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
· Proven track record of success
· Fluent in English, additional language an advantage

Qualifications

· University degree in business economics, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
· Overall business experience: 1-3 years
· Retail pricing and segmentation experience benefitial
· Management experience: an advantage
