Role : Quality Control Inspector

Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 17:00pm, Friday 08:00 - 13:00pm (Early Finish)

Salary: £8.72 per hour

My client is well established company looking for a highly motivated and determined team player to join their team. The quality inspector will be working in the Quality Department and will report to the Production Manager.

Job Description

·  Your role will be to provide quality control / inspection to the shop floor.

·  To carry out visual inspection of first-off and batch-built PCB assemblies (surface mount and / or conventional technologies) in accordance with appropriate customer and company documentation, and published workmanship standards.

·  Inspection of populated boards completed units and cable assemblies.

·  To support assembly supervisors and operators in the resolution of quality problems.

·  To report systematic quality problems to the Quality Manager and assist in their resolution where appropriate.

·  To carry out patrol / sample inspection of work in progress where necessary.

EXPERIENCE

·  A highly motivated, organised, proactive, dynamic, and enthusiastic individual.

·  Strong attention to detail.

·  Previous experience in Quality Inspection/Control, preferably within a Manufacturing background

·  Good knowledge of assembly and final Inspection of mechanical products.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 with 2 x 15-minute tea breaks and 30-minute lunch break.

Friday 08:00-13:00 with 1 x 15-minute tea break.

Overtime is available on Saturdays which is 08:00-12:00 paid at time and a half.
