Our client, a leading University are currently recruiting for a Postgraduate Administrator.

·  Location: South Kensington

·  Pay: £17.98 Per Hour

·  Type: Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week, 9-5

·  Start Date: ASAP

·  End Date: End of February

Key Responsibilities:

·  To develop contacts within the College and the wider academic and industrial communities.

·  To act as the point of contact with Registry and the Department's Post Graduate Administrator, including visa/ATAS issues

·  To maintain all student records and track student progress, and at the end of the academic year to pass updated information to the relevant College bodies (e.g. Registry).

·  Prepare with absolute confidentiality, sensitive documents, including student marks and personal student issues.

·  To provide the Research Student Manager and Course Directors with Programme reports, metrics and data

·  To plan and prepare external examiner meetings, collating all information and metrics required in liaison with the Research Student Manager and Course Directors

·  To take the lead in managing administrative aspects of the Student's research projects.

·  To ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the courses throughout the academic year

·  To be responsible for ensuring that all students are registered properly

·  To be responsible for resolving a wide variety of student problems (often non-routine) arising throughout the year

·  To provide guidance and practical advice to students on Programme issues

·  To collect all coursework, populate mark sheets, distribute grades and results to students.

·  To make arrangements for any off-campus visits including liaising with venues industry partners where necessary

Essential Criteria

·  Relevant Academic or vocational qualifications, or an equivalent level of work experience

·  Experience in organising meetings, workshops, conferences, etc

·  Experience in managing budgets and monitoring spend

·  Working knowledge of a range of computer-based procedures and software packages, including Microsoft Office

·  Excellent written and verbal skills

·  Ability to produce clear and concise written material for communication and administrative purposes

·  Understanding of and regard for confidentiality and security
