PENSIONS OFFICER

POPLAR, LONDON

MONDAY- FRIDAY 9AM- 5PM (36 HOURS)

6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT (POSSIBILITY OF BEING EXTENDED)

£15 HOURLY RATE (PAYE)

IMMEDIATE START

MAIN DUTIES:

·  Updating LGPS deferred member records

·  Processing of LGPS deferred member benefits

·  Processing of refunds of contributions for LGPS members

·  Processing of LGPS starters and leavers

·  Dealing with LGPS auto-enrolment queries

·  Processing of LGPS member nominations and expressions of wish

·  Processing of LGPS members unpaid refunds

·  Uploading and checking employer payroll monthly submissions

·  Dealing with GMP reconciliation queries

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

·  Candidate must have detailed knowledge and experience of working with Local Government Pensions

·  Working knowledge of Altair Heywood pensions administration system

·  Detailed knowledge of LGPS legislations

·  Experience of managing staff
