Design Engineer

Adecco are recruiting for a Design Engineer to support the Engineering Manager in the design of manufactured products. Do you have design engineering experience, used CAD software, worked in a manufacturing environment? If so we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities include:

·  The creation of artwork & tooling using artwork/drawings supplied by the customer

·  Creation of BOM's to meet production requirements

·  Work closely with the production department

·  Liaise with both customers and suppliers on technical matters

·  Support the Sales team with any technical queries

·  Produce quotations/costings

·  Work with suppliers to identify alternative materials

·  Develop new products/ideas

·  Maintain all engineering related database

·  Assist in the development implementation & maintenance of appropriate QMS procedure

Candidates must have:

·  Proven production engineering experience and education

·  Experience using CAD software
