CNC Setter/Operator

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and passionate CNC Setter/Operator to join a forward-thinking, family-run manufacturing company. This fantastic new role would be ideal for someone looking to join a well-established team with excellent company values.

We are looking for a motivated team-player with the following:

·  Experience of CNC Milling/Turning machines

·  Ability to set/operate in Heidenhain and Fanuc control machining centres

·  Basic knowledge of manual milling and drilling machineries

·  Ability to read and understand technical drawings

·  Knowledge of 3S / Lean processes

·  Programming knowledge would be desirable.

Responsibilities for the role include:

·  Using gauges etc. to meet tolerance requirements

·  Completing cleaning and basic maintenance on CNC machinery

·  Utilising fixtures and tooling efficiently and effectively

·  Performing tool wear offsets

·  Complying with H&S at all times
