Business Analyst - Charity Sector

Our client, a well-known charitable organisation is looking to recruit a Business Analyst who will be working within a key strategic programme for the organisation with the key accountability of leading business analysis, working in an agile delivery environment on technology and digital projects.

This programme aims to help deliver a more integrated and personalised care experience, help people to more effectively navigate and assist people to manage their condition more independently when that is appropriate.

To be successful in this role you will have a demonstrable track record of supporting digital delivery and business analysis activities.

·  Pay: £21.74 per hour

·  Type: Temporary

·  Start Date: 05/08/2019

·  End date: 17/01/2020

·  Hours: 34.5, Mon-Fri

·  Location: Vauxhall

The successful candidate must be willing to travel within the UK for day or occasional overnight trips.

In this role, your accountabilities and responsibilities are:

·  Work with the Project Manager and local geographic teams to ensure business processes and requirements for relevant business capabilities are identified, fully developed and documented.

·  Maintain a customer centric view throughout design, development and delivery.

·  Strong commercial acumen and business sense to understand stakeholder's drivers and motivations.

·  Excellent communicator who can engage well with business and technology stakeholders.

·  Coach stakeholders to articulate business needs and user stories rather than wishes and problems.

·  Identify potential risks and points of resistance that could impact business change and adoption.

·  Support the collation and synthesising of data for cost benefit analysis and contribute to benefits realisation.

·  Support the evaluation of solution options and produce recommendations for consideration by the Project Board.

·  Communicate the documented business requirements to the organisations delivery teams including our Digital Transformation programme.

·  Demonstrable experience in supporting the delivery of digital products.

·  Provide guidance on best practice for testing, implementation, user acceptance and post implementation.

·  Any other duties as reasonably required.

Key Skills/Experience:

·  Experience of Business Analysis.

·  Experience with formal project management methodology.

·  Demonstrable experience across the whole project life cycle from scoping and business prioritisation, agile delivery and organisational change.

·  Experience in agile delivery working with technology delivery teams and a Product Owner, writing user stories and taking part in end to end agile process.

·  Experience of working on projects where a wide variety of stakeholders are involved demonstrating team building, proven inter-disciplinary application, systemic approach combined with an orientation on results and pragmatism.

·  Must have worked with external partners as well as internal teams.

·  Must have worked with geographically dispersed teams.

·  Full IT project life cycle experience from feasibility study to implementation and sign-off.

·  Experience working in a health or social care setting would be an advantage.
