Candidate profile:

Applicants must possess great attention to detail, and have the ability to meet tight deadlines at short notice within a high pressure environment. Reporting to the Shift Leader, they should be comfortable working as part of a small team. Experience and/or interest in the chemical, oil, or gas sectors is beneficial but any individual that displays the right motivation and attitude will be considered.

Job description:

Working alongside the Shift Leader as part of the Operations Team, the successful candidate will receive on-the-job training relevant to the role, starting with simpler, routine tasks and building up to tasks that carry a higher level of difficulty and/or responsibility with the aim of working autonomously. A full training plan will be implemented toward this end.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

� Batch blend production & sampling in line with formal work instructions

� Managing automatic/manual fluid transfers and precision additisations

� Tanker loading including booking in/out

� Decanting finished goods and preparing for dispatch

� Working in a safe, tidy and organised fashion at all times

Key Skills Required:

� Organised and efficient, with great attention to detail around product names, batch codes and specifications

� Good arithmetic, literacy and IT are essential (Word/Excel)

� Good communicator with the ability to interpret work instructions and carry them out effectively, as well as the ability to provide feedback and updates on work in progress

� Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities in a physically demanding role

� Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude

Favourable shift patterns - Monday to Friday only
