We are currently working exclusively with a client based in Maidstone who is looking to bring on a Business Development Manager who can work across the UK but predominantly Europe in order to increase awareness and client base for the business. This business has been running for several years and with a strategy as a business to be worldwide, this new person joining the business will work alongside the Sales Manager in order to take that step in the right direction.

Because of their worldwide growth plans of the business this person will need to be a Fluent/Native French Speaker in order to speak to the French, Belgian and other French speaking markets.

The responsibilities of this role will be as follows;

·  30% + of your time will be travelling to parts of Europe, building relationships and business developments (Once you have a good understanding of business and service)

·  Following up on leads and arranging meetings to close sales opportunities

·  Sending out quotes

·  Sales forecasting and reporting

·  Taking part in exhibitions for promotional activity and building the business reputation

·  Networking and Marketing the business through a range of different avenues

·  Supporting the Sales manager with Ad hoc Tasks.

This person must:

·  French Native/Fluent Speaker

·  BDM experience

·  Experience with European Sales

In addition, what would be of benefit is if you come from a electrics/hydraulic, Commercial Cars or Plant Sales background. If not something that involves a technical or engineering element to your role.

Salary is dependant on experience.
