The post holder will work as part of a dynamic, flexible team providing administrative and technical support
(finance and information) to support the meet their statutory EUR obligations. Providing high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis.

The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support
the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to improve, inform and support a
portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.

The purpose of the role will be to provide non-clinical advice to the general public, patients and health
professionals in writing, telephone conversations and face to face and to generate a significant amount
of written correspondence to patients and clinicians relating to the IFR process.

The post holder will screen requests against treatment specific policies, prepare cases for review by
clinical triage as well as by the relevant clinical commissioning groups individual funding request panel
and attend Individual Funding Request Panels across Greater Manchester to present the cases and
record the discussions and decisions.

In addition the post holder will support the Effective Use of Resources Service Lead and/or the Assistant
Team Manager, ensuring that individuals within the team work together effectively and to a high standard
to meet the team's objectives and service delivery measures, by providing training to other staff and
supervision of other team member's work.

The role will also encompass ad-hoc project work for example leading on new ways of working such as
managing IFR Panels via Skype (this is not an exhaustive list).

The post holder will be required to travel across Greater Manchester. Therefore the post holder needs to
be a car owner/driver (subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act (1995).
