Job description

Key tasks

1. Ensure that the RM Strategy is properly deployed to achieve a business consistency for all Economy hotels in the region. Take decision and implement RM tactics in order to optimize demand for each property.
2. Deployment of RM and Pricing solutions with the support of the VP of Operations, Regional RM and Hotel GM teams.
3. Through the organization of regular meetings with the GM and VP of Operations; share and communicate the top line performance, short/long term strategy, market outlook, pricing strategy and business mix.
4. Act as a consultant for General Managers for RM technics, processes and training. Coordinate the use by the hotels of RM processes, brand offers, systems and tools.
5. Hold a key role in the opening of 6 news hotels from 2017 to 2018. Create, implement and maintain critical path for new openings. Define pricing strategy and distribution strategy with VP of Operations and GM. Support GM and hotel team throughout opening phase (CRS, technical, strategy and forecasting).
6. Engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders of top line revenue generating departments: e-commerce, OTA leisure team, Global Sales, RM Teams, market managers and VP of Operations.
7. Support GM and VP of Operations in the budget process for the top line of each hotel.
8. Support and coach RM in midscale hotels (4 RM on properties).

Essential and optional requirements

Required skills:
• Ability to pro-actively anticipate demand and turn findings into a coherent short term and long term strategy that is supported by RM tactics and top line generating actions.
• Strong coordination and communication skills in order to lead and collaborate with various stakeholders (Revenue Managers, Hotel GMs, Sales, VP Operations, RM Team, Global Sales, etc..)
• Strong leadership and coaching of the GM and RM on property.
• Understanding of critical performance indicators and data points coming from various sources (PMS, TARS, RMS, Pricing Solutions, Excel shared tools, market and distribution data files)
• Requires a mix of strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
