Procurement is a core pillar of the offering we propose to our Hotels. We have developed a one-stop-shop solution, covering 100% of hospitality needs and collaborating with >3500 suppliers across the world. Because of the size of our business, we are able to negotiate some of the best prices and conditions on the market.

We are looking for a corporate entrepreneur to grow this business with us.

We are positioning Accor Hotel Procurement Services as the reference in the UK for hospitality procurement (Food & Beverages, Non-Food, Equipment, and Furniture & Services). Our ambition is to expand beyond just serving Accor Branded hotels!

The role of the Procurement Business Development Manager will be to:
• Grow the business with our Accor Hotels partners: increase purchases made through our services instead of them sourcing through other channels (Managed & Franchised)
• Develop procurement partnerships outside Accor: convince independent hospitality players (special focus on Hotels & Restaurants) to leverage the strength of Accor Procurement Services to improve their cost structure

What will be your core tasks?

New Partners
• Define the procurement’s Business Development Strategy
• Prepare commercial material and case studies to showcase our strengths (online & offline)
• Define sales plan: leads to approach, timing, relaunch etc.
• Develop cost saving business case for potential partners
• Build relationships & convert new hotels to Accor Procurement services

Existing Partners
• Define the procurement’s Compliance strategy - how to improve volume of sourcing done through our services, improving capture levels
• Define action plan to raise compliance (hotels to target, actions, timing, frequency of visits)
• Roll-out action plan and monitor performance, visiting hotels & establishing strong relationships with Hotel owners & managers

For both new & existing Partners
• Liaise with internal Accor stakeholders to accelerate results both on new partner recruitment as well as strengthening business with existing partners
• Collect input from field on how Procurement offering needs to improve
• Collect price benchmarking data from the field to ensure our price levels are competitive
• Follow-up performance vs targets – focus on additional revenues
