This position is casual, starting April 2020. The pay rate for this position is $14.65 per hour, increasing to $16.02 after completion of 3 month probation and $18.30 after 6 months, plus gratuities.

Responsibilities
·  Arranging and preparing rooms and tables for events
·  Maintaining adequate supplies and equipment
·  Assisting kitchen and service staff
·  Providing exceptional customer service to guests
·  Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
·  Previous experience performing a physically demanding work load
·  Previous experience in a customer service-related position
·  "Serving It Right" and “Food Safe” certification
·  Fluency in the English language; both written and verbal
·  Excellent organizational skills and the capability of working well with minimal supervision.
·  A high level of responsibility and commitment
·  A strong commitment to team work and exceeding guests' expectations
·  Impeccable grooming and presentation
·  Physical ability to perform the requirements of the job, including:
·  Standing/Walking for extended periods of time
·  Lifting and carrying heavy loads

NOTE: The position of Banquet Porter is physically demanding.  The successful applicant must be in excellent physical condition and must be capable of lifting and carrying heavy loads.
