Mortlake Wind Farm Employment - Expressions of Interest

Job description

ACCIONA Energy has commenced the construction program of the Mortlake South Wind Farm, which is located in south western Victoria; and completion is expected in 2020. The wind farm will generate clean energy equivalent to the electricity consumption of almost 80,000 Australian households, avoiding the emission of over 532,000 tonnes of CO2 to the atmosphere per year from thermal power stations. It will create approximately 100 jobs during construction, including around 10 ongoing roles during operations.

ABOUT THE ROLES
Right now, we are on the lookout for experienced professionals to be part of our construction team who will ensure the safe and successful delivery of this new project. Longer-term, we will be recruiting staff for the Operations phase.

We would love to hear from you if you have a background and experience the Australian Renewable Energy sector in any capacity. We also welcome applications from those with experience in other areas of Construction and/or Operations, or a keen desire to work in Renewables. To thrive and succeed at ACCIONA, you will need the following profile:-

Qualifications :

• Relevant experience in a related role in Construction and/or Operations, or a keen interest to work in Renewables;
• Professional qualifications and relevant licences, where relevant to your role;
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanour;
• Take pride in your work;
• A team player who is collegiate and helpful, whilst also able to work independently when required;
• Passion for renewables;
• Current driver's licence and vehicle to commute to site.
