Job Description:

Accenture seeks a Vulnerability Security Analyst to work from our Arlington, VA, office. Candidates must be located in the metro Washington, DC, area (DC, Virginia and Maryland). This is NOT a telecommuting position. The Security Analyst will translate technical source information into clear, concise and legible intelligence daily.
The ideal candidate will have a solid IT and intelligence background and the desire to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, deadline-driven environment. Candidates must be self-starters with a quick learning curve.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

Qualified candidates will gather and conduct low-level analysis on infosec-related vulnerabilities and exploit codes, and then convert it into actionable intelligence. Analysts must be able to comprehend the subject matter sufficiently enough to understand security implications and the resulting effect on various IT infrastructure components. The Security Analyst will also have the opportunity to participate in the creation of white papers and other technical security bulletins that will be based on first-hand research and lab verification. Qualified candidates must have the ability to recognize and deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information and work and communicate effectively under normal and stressful situations.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:



Minimum 1+ years relevant infosec work experience; applicants with less than 1-2 years' full-time experience may be considered if they have significant relevant coursework or internship experience

Flexible work schedules to include morning, day and/or evening shifts (some on-call weekend work may be required)

Excellent analytical skills, along with superb grammar and technical writing skills

Strong organizational and personal skills

Detail-oriented team player willing to work in a fast-paced environment

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with prior programming experience will be preferred

Knowledge of SQL is a plus

Bachelor's Degree is not required, but preferred.
