Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Computer Science, Engineering or related degree.

Certifications in Agile, Prince2, PMBOK, or ITIL would be beneficial but not essential.

Minimum 5 years experience in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. 3 years professional experience designing UI/UX for modern, interactive web applications and using ServiceNow. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Primarily Photoshop and Illustrator) and must have a portfolio of work available for interview.

Minimum NV 1 clearance preferred, and able to upgrade to NV2.

Preferred Skills

As a UX Specialist you will provide business and system integration services to help clients implement effective digital solutions. You will be required to understand and translate customer needs into business and technology solutions via the range of leading digital methodologies and/or solutions. This includes driving discussions and providing advice around digital transformation, the customer digital journey, functional/application designs and ensuring technology and business solutions represent business requirements. You will be required to work with development teams to ensure feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Professional Skill Requirements

Proven experience in Waterfall and/or Agile projects across any industry - but experience in Defence or the Federal Government would be an added bonus. Proven experience in complex ICT or innovation projects will be highly regarded. Experience creating user flows, wireframes, designs, and detailed specifications for handoff to development teams will be important, as will the need to be an excellent communicator.
