The Blue Tulip Awards is a year-round ecosystem-driven program aiming to accelerate innovators, build powerful collaborations, and drive breakthrough innovation. This year-round program will ultimately culminate in the finals at the Accenture Innovation Summit. The Blue Tulip Awards team consists of a Central Team and 8 Theme Teams. The Central Team interns are responsible for program management, partnerships, open innovation and client value, event management and marketing & communications. The Theme Interns are responsible for defining the theme strategy and executing the theme specific tasks, such as innovation scouting and guiding the theme's jury process. Together you will work towards one goal: the biggest innovation program of the Netherlands. Within the whole Blue Tulip Awards team, you are given the freedom to pursue a variety projects.

Your job
As an intern of the Marketing and Communications team, you will be in contact with more than thirty interns that work among the eight themes and central team. You play an active role in determining and executing the marketing and communication strategy with online and offline content throughout this year-round innovation program. Within the marketing and communication team, there is a lot of freedom regarding your role. No day will be the same. Do you like to create mind-blowing content, handle our digital and social media channels, be creative and design, manage content, do internal communications OR do you feel like you can contribute in your own unique way? You are more than welcome to! We are looking for intern(s) (preferably) starting as soon as possible, for a period of 5-6 months and 32-40 hours a week. Are you the perfect candidate?

Roles within the MarCom team are as follows:

1. Digital & Social Media Manager
As Digital & Social Media Manager you are responsible for the social media channels of the Blue Tulip Awards (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn). Within this role you will think about the social media strategy (with help of analytics), monitor channels daily, and post the content that has been created. Apart from that, you will work with our AIA website and make sure that the website is up-to-date. Also, you will oversee the ‘event-app' which will be used before and the during the summit. Moreover, you will be involved in the management of process and planning, collect the right content, contact the agencies and you will make sure that everyone sticks to the content planning and budget. As Digital & Social Media Manager, you will be advised and supervised by the Digital Marketing Lead of Accenture the Netherlands. Basic knowledge about Analytics, HTML and CMS is a plus.

2. Innovation Journalist / Copywriter
As Innovation Journalist, you are involved in creating inspirational, attractive and interesting content about innovation in the Netherlands. This means that you initiate and produce interviews, articles, blogs and videos on a weekly basis. Therefore, we are looking for a writing talent with energy, creativity, and self-dependence. As an innovation journalist, you get the opportunity to visit events, look for relevant content that we can communicate through our different media channels, on our website and to our clients. Within your role as innovation journalist you will get in touch with the coolest startups, inspiring entrepreneurs, opinion leaders in diverse industries and media. Basic knowledge about SEO and content marketing is a plus.

3. Creative Designer
As a creative designer, you are responsible for all visual content that will be used by the marketing and communication team. This means, thinking about how to brand the Blue Tulip Awards and process the content created by the innovation journalist. You will be in close contact with our creative designer department in Dublin. Together with them, you can make beautiful, goal-oriented content and visuals. This role is very broad and creativity is a much-needed skill. Knowledge of Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator is a must.

4. Project / (content) Manager
As a Project (content) Manager, you are responsible for a divers set of marketing projects and the coordination of all content written by, and about, the Blue Tulip Awards. You are the focal point between the central team and the 8 theme teams and you make sure that all internal and external communication is adjusted to one another. For all external communication, you are in close contact with the Digital & Social Media Manager to keep our innovation network up to date, while taking the communication strategy into account at all times. Furthermore, you are responsible for the content planning.

5. Event Communication manager
As an event communication manager, you are responsible for creating the event communication strategy. You continuously think of possibilities to transfer event communication, promotion, after-care in the most effective ways towards the target group. Besides, you will help shape the Top 25, Top 10, Top 5 and winner announcement strategy. On top of that, you oversee executing the strategies involving creating rundowns, coordinating the team and be in contact with our external video/photo partners.

6. Partner Communication
As a Partner-Communication Intern your role involves helping our partners to create more “social” visibility through our Blue Tulip Awards' social channels. You will be actively in contact with partners in receiving, combining and creating partner-content. This content can vary from content about partner events and programs to theme based content from our 8 ecosystem partners on Health, Finance, Security, Climate, Nutrition, Mobility, Education and Living & Working. You'll learn how (Accenture) can benefit from collaboration with partnerships and to find opportunities in every partnership in the field of Marketing Communication. We are looking for a someone with good communication skills and who is well-organized.

7. Internal Communications Manager
As an Internal Communications Manager, you are responsible for developing and elaborating the internal communications strategy: magnify the awareness around the Blue Tulip Awards, enthuse colleagues and stimulate them to engage. In order to inform the whole team and employees of Accenture the Netherlands about all developments around the Blue Tulip Awards, you will create and design different innovative communication methods. Furthermore, you will organize several internal events, and make sure that all communications between team members runs smoothly. Experience with Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator is a plus.

Qualifications :

Your background

·  You are a HBO student (end phase) or WO (end phase of Bachelor or Master) student;
·  You are a team player with excellent communication skills;
·  You are fluent in Dutch and English;
·  You are a hard worker and able to work independently;
·  You have a “can-do” mentality and can think outside the box.
