The Data Architect is a key member of the project team whose responsibilities include working with clients directly on projects involving data migration/transformation. The Data Architect would work directly with the project team and clients gathering requirements to analyze, design and/or implement technology best practice business changes. They work with senior members of the team ensuring the successful delivery of Data Warehousing, ETL or Big Data projects. We are aiming for people performing this role to have solid functional and/or industry knowledge, as well as experience handling and migrating data to serve as a base foundation as we look to train and specialize into specific technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work with Delivery Lead/Project Manager to maintain and coordinate communication with the customer/client throughout each project.
· Work with the project team to help gather the business and functional requirements, by scoping, defining, and prioritizing requirements.
· Work with clients in requirement gathering sessions, understand Agile SDLC and Agile ceremonies.
· Work with large data sets in data migration or transformation projects given requirements from client.
· Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistency and break down high-level information into details.
· Develop, maintain and perform processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity in platform applications

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  8+ years of progressive database management experience
·  Off prem experience
·  Big Data experience (ex Hadoop, S3, Redshift, Spark, ETL, data governance)
·  NOSQL experience
· 
8+ years managing large scale, complex systems

· 
Bachelor's degree

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
