Executive Assistant - Part Time (22.5 hours over 3 days at 7.5 per day)

Location: London
Salary: up to £32,000 (pro-rata - £19,200)

JOB PURPOSE

To provide a defined range of efficient, effective, professional and value-adding secretarial and administrative services to selected Accenture Leadership enabling the Accenture Leadership to focus their time according to their business priorities.

SCOPE

Executive Assistant support is provided to Accenture Leadership only, on the basis of an average ratio of 1 Executive Assistant to 5 Accenture Leadership. The Executive Assistant also works as part of team of 4 - 8 Executive Assistants.

Each Executive Assistant and the team have access to services provided by other groups and organisations that support the Accenture client business. Executive Assistants are expected to provide the defined range of services to Accenture Leadership through a combination of self-delivery, delivery from within the immediate and wider Executive Assistant group and delivery from the rest of the support organisation.
Success in the Executive Assistant role is measured by a combination of feedback from the Accenture Leadership to whom services are provided and feedback from EA Supervisors.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Delivering Customer Service Excellence

· Work with Accenture Leadership to understand client business objectives and identify specifically how their role can contribute to the achievement of these objectives
· Attend meetings and client presentations as required to build relationships and support client facing activities
· Manage and monitor delegated client activities
· Track and monitor budgets and expenses
· Manage diaries
· Document and database management
· Call handling

Undertaking activities and actions on behalf of executives

· Take proactive action in relation to Accenture Leadership inbox, directing messages to others, handling messages and drafting responses as appropriate and ensuring the executive focuses attention on key emails
· Handle elements of the Accenture Leadership budget as required (travel, events, meetings, entertaining
· etc) making best choice for business inline with policy and preferred suppliers in meeting customers needs
· Manages the Accenture Leaders time and expense reporting

Networking

· Develops an effective relationship with Executive Assistants throughout Accenture and uses these relationships to actively support and simplify the executive's diary and activities.
· Develops effective relationships with peers in client organisations and uses these relationships to support Accenture Leadership
· Develops strong and effective relationships with Accenture Leadership and uses these relationships to facilitate requirements
· Provides a point of contact for Accenture Leadership direct report teams

Team Work

· Shares knowledge with team members, working collaboratively to deliver business results
· Works in and across formal and informal teams developing trusting relationships and promotes the value of teamwork throughout the organisation

Desired profile



Qualifications :

The successful candidate will have experience in an Executive Assistant or similar role in a fast paced environment where managing conflicting priorities is key. Ideally educated to A'Level or equivalent standard.

Essential skills/qualities to possess to make this role successful are:
·  Excellent telephone manner and verbal and written English
·  Experience working in a similar role supporting Senior Management
·  Strong Diary Management (multiple diaries)
·  Excellent customer service skills
·  IT and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
·  Effective team player, flexible but with the ability to work independently
·  Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
·  Strong interpersonal skills with confidence to interact with people at senior levels
·  Ability to work within agreed timescales
·  High level of accuracy
·  Pro-active, display initiative and work well under pressure
