Role: Data Architect (SC Eligible)

Location: Newcastle

Travel: Possibility for travel to client sites throughout the UK

Salary: We have roles available across a range of Accenture career levels including Specialist and Associate Manager and Manager Levels. Salary: £36,000 to £70,000 + (depending on skills and experience)

Qualifications :

We'd like to work with you if you/you're...

- Experienced in the design, build, tuning and maintenance of relational databases, ideally Oracle

- Experienced in the design and configuration of the RDBMS to achieve high availability, high resilience, fast recovery, zero data loss

- Experienced working with business analysts, SMEs and developers to collaboratively design solutions. Able to discuss the solution blueprint with stakeholders with different degrees of technical knowledge and different interests in the solution.

- Experienced in the design and delivery of complex solutions across a range of problem spaces and can demonstrate this.

- Continually identifying new technologies and approaches and forming opinions on where and when they could be applied.

- Able to translate designs into actionable design documentation.

- Understand key data management and integration design patterns.

Not required, but it would be awesome if you/you're...

- Great at documenting your solutions in a way that the varied audience can understand (e.g. smart diagramming).

- Have worked in an agile environment.

- Have a good understanding of designing and implementing secure systems.

- Have experience in Financial Services systems

- Have experience in any of the following; Kafka, Oracle/Golden Gate, OpenShift.
