Accounts Receivable Clerk with Polish language

Job description
Processing accounts receivable using concrete, deal specific accounting systems and other related software (if applicable) and following all the steps related to these operations.
Main Accountabilities:
• Responsible for completion of straightforward, stand-alone tasks or high-volume transactions within detailed instructions and predefined procedures, especially:
• Accounts Receivable (e.g. Incoming payments, Clearing, Billing, Reports, Intercompany & Month End activities), etc.
• Communicating with the client concerning the processed items
• Escalates issues and seeks advice when faced with non-standard issues/problems
• Performs regular standard tasks
• Solves problems largely by precedent with referral to detailed instructions/procedures
• Cooperation on additional critical tasks under the direction of supervisor
• Carry out other duties as requested by supervisor
Dimensions:
• Responsibility for processing accounts payable invoices to ensure that the KPIs related to these activities are achieved;
• Member of team (individuals within a team may operate similar tasks)
• Interacts largely with own workgroup but may interact with users from Mauritius office, as well as with scanning team in Milano
• Working on normal daily hours according to BPO standards and/or DEAL specifications (business hours required by client are 8:30 am till 5:30 pm)
• Performs skilled work requiring some functional training or job experience
• Subject to regular local supervision of progress against results
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Skills, knowledge & experience:
• Previous accounting experience or experience with accounting systems are advantage
• Knowledge of English language - advanced
• Knowledge of Polish language - advanced
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills is essential
• Good team player
• Responsibility and accuracy
• Flexibility, within defined parameters
• Co-operates with and supports team members as required
• Shares knowledge and experience with other members of a team
• Able to acquire new skills in appropriate time scales
• Basic working knowledge of one functional accounting area
• Sufficient familiarity with/exposure to a number of straightforward processes and standardized work routines to execute them
