We have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced, ambitious and enthusiastic Warehouse Supervisor. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Australian warehouse and will support the 3PL partner in New Zealand.

The main aspects of this role include:

  • Management, leadership and development of warehouse staff.
  • Ensure compliance with monthly cycle counting and reporting. All stock locations, physical and virtual must be reconciled monthly and maintained to the standard outlined in policy.
  • Ensure all company training is completed by the due dates.
  • Oversee the returns area to ensure all returns are processed in a timely manner.
  • All inbound stock is checked, receipted, put away and back orders prioritised.
  • Own “ZODL” to ensure all daily orders are picked, packed and shipped on time.
  • Partner with New Zealand 3PL warehouse to ensure all processes are completed as per agreement and with agreed Abbott Vascular procedures.
  • Co-ordinate and manage Bi-Annual stock takes and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
  • Ensure temperature monitoring is performed.
  • Provide resolution for all customer order issues, build and maintain relationships with all customers, both internal and external.
  • Partner with transport companies to ensure all orders are delivered on time.
  • Continuously improve stock management, layout and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all packaging materials are maintained to the levels required.
  • Maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse area.

In addition to the above, the relevant experience is required:

  • High School Certificate completion or equivalent
  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations & 3PL
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing/supervising staff
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Warehouse/Logistics supervisory role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexible organisational skills – proven ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Computer literacy – MS Office programs, SAP
