Status: Regular, Full Time

Position Overview:

Receive, pick, pack and ship orders. Perform regular cycle counts. Follow procedures regarding product storage, handling, identification and segregation. Maintain safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform receiving, pick, pack and ship functions and maintain shipping and receiving areas.
  • Assemble required containers or crates for processing of all sales orders and attach identifying information as per approved shipping procedures, i.e. pick, pack and ship.
  • Ensure all product materials being shipped from SJM warehouse are packaged per approved procedures to avoid damage. Special attention given to temperature sensitive devices.
  • Track packages or other shipments to ensure correct delivery schedules are met.
  • Close orders and verify no open orders remain prior to the end of day.
  • Ensure adequate supplies are available for shipping product (tape, packing slips, corrugate shippers, labels etc.).
  • Load and unload goods from delivery trucks with careful attention given the nature of the product.
  • Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other necessary documents for National and International shipments. Mostly from Carriers power shippers.
  • Inspect and count received goods, fill out forms for shortages, damaged and returned items and locate correctly. Perform all appropriate steps when receiving shipments (review lot or serial number, expiry date, special access).
  • Monitor short dated inventory and relocate.
  • Cycle count to be completed daily or when required.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory received and all documents. Ensure records are filed and maintained in compliance with GDP and ISO.
  • Ensure proper transactions are completed in SAP; items are identified and delivered to appropriate recipients (Explants, returned goods). Complete return documents and receive in SAP all consigned inventory.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to handle a diverse and complex workload.
  • Moral, ethical and professional image at all times, coupled with strong communication skills.
