JOB DESCRIPTION:

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Center of Excellence Lead will in partnership with EMEA TA Managers, support and manage recruitment activities for Abbott's businesses. This position supports multiple geographies and multiple functions across Abbott EMEA (commercial, corporate, manufacturing).

This role will lead a recruitment administration team to deliver within agreed procedures, standards and timescales, as defined by the Service LeveLAgreements (SLA'S) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and deliver fully cycle recruiting Talent Acquisition activities and services to Abbott business. All services are delivered within Abbott's model, technology and methodologies and require knowledge of Healthcare market, Corporate business operations and the ability to translate business needs into recruitment strategies and actions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage center of excellence function in line with best practice model providing a best in class experience to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Lead, guide and develop the Talent Acquisition co-coordinator team to improve collective performance via direct coaching and personal development plans
  • Analysis of relevant data to Identify gaps in process and propose relevant solutions and support performance, efficiency and innovation.
  • Ensuring integrity of data held within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other HR Systems where appropriate.
  • Project management of Talent Acquisition Shared Service Projects.
  • Train and educate co-coordinators on digital, brand marketing and social media.
  • Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, Hiring managers, candidates, corporate Talent Acquisition, EMEA Talent Acquisition.
  • Work with hiring managers to develop a recruitment strategy for requirements, setting and manage recruiting process expectations, use of appropriate sourcing mediums to attract suitable candidates, offer management and hiring on to Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Fluent English language skills are required.
  • An additional EMEA Language is highly advantageous
  • Strong track record of work experience in a Talent Acquisition role (minimum 5 years)
  • Experience of working in Talent acquisition shared service environment is advantageous
  • Analytical background, with experience of using analysis to drive improvements through the application of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools and concepts
  • Professional, accountable, high energy and collaborative team player
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure and changing environment
  • Competitive drive, strong work ethic. Motivation to learn, grow and succeed
  • Self-starter capable to taking initiative and working with minimal direction.
