Position Overview:

As a member of Research and Development Design Transfer team, the candidate will contribute to the team’s success by supporting multiple project teams, simultaneously.  Main tasks will include, and not limited to, new product design and development, process development, component manufacturing supplier interactions, product testing, product documentation, and root cause investigation of  mechanical / microfluidic, and chemical / electrochemical / biochemical systems.

The ideal candidate for our team will bring the following education, experiences, knowledge, and skills to the position

Required Education and Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience in an engineering or science role

Graduate degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong written and oral skills are required.

Ability to work both within small and large teams and independently.

Proven technical, creative, teamwork and project implementation skills to contribute to product and process development.

Knowledge of math, statistics, and good computer skills.

Judgment and decision-making skills.

Organization, coordinating and planning skills, with the ability to work in a multi-task environment, under pressure, with a propensity to continuous learning.

Familiarity with any of the following areas would be an asset:

Electrochemistry

Reaction Kinetics

Molecular Recognition

Microfluidics

Photolithography

Design of Experiments

Design Control

Experimental design and statistical process control

ISO/FDA regulations

Risk management/FMEA methods

This is a Monday to Friday position.
